This Audi A5 B9 (F5 pre-facelift, MLBevo platform) received a full OEM infotainment modernization. The original MIB2 system was replaced with a MIB3 High unit, bringing the latest Audi navigation system, improved performance and wireless smartphone integration.
The result is a near-facelift specification upgrade while maintaining full factory integration and original system functionality.
MIB3 High Retrofit – Complete System Upgrade
The retrofit included replacement of the main infotainment unit, updated display hardware, gateway configuration updates and installation of the correct USB interface to support full MIB3 functionality.
All required coding, parameterization and component protection procedures were completed to ensure seamless OEM integration.
Wireless Apple CarPlay & Latest Navigation
With MIB3 High installed, the vehicle now supports wireless Apple CarPlay, faster system response and the newest generation Audi navigation with updated maps and enhanced user interface.
Everything operates within the original Audi system architecture – no aftermarket modules or unofficial solutions.
Virtual Cockpit Facelift Upgrade with RS Display Modes
The vehicle originally had a pre-facelift Virtual Cockpit. To ensure full compatibility with MIB3, it was upgraded to the facelift version.
The upgraded cluster now supports RS, RS Sport, RS Performance and RS Runway display modes, as well as the special RS4 Edition 25 white dial theme.
The result is a modern, high-performance cockpit layout fully synchronized with the MIB3 infotainment system.
Factory-Level Integration
This upgrade was performed using genuine Audi hardware and OEM procedures. All systems communicate correctly within the MLBevo platform and function exactly like a factory-delivered MIB3 vehicle.
