Audi A3 / S3 / RS3 8Y Front & Rear PDC Retrofit

Upgrade your Audi A3, S3 or RS3 8Y with the original Audi front and rear Park Distance Control (PDC) system. This OEM retrofit expands your vehicle from rear-only parking sensors to a complete front and rear parking system with optical visualization in the MMI — exactly like factory-installed PDC.

Important Prerequisite

Your vehicle must already be equipped with rear PDC sensors (PR-7X1).
If your car does not have rear parking sensors, please contact us for a complete front & rear PDC retrofit solution.

Special Notice – 2024+ Models (SFD2 Protection)

Starting from model year 2024, most Audi vehicles are equipped with SFD2 (Schutz der Fahrzeugdiagnose 2) security protection. This system prevents remote coding, dataset uploads and activations outside of authorized workshop environments.

If your vehicle has one of the following PR codes, it is protected by SFD2:

  • PR-NI1 – With UNECE CS & SU
  • PR-NI7 – With UNECE (R155) without SU (R156)
  • PR-NI8 – Without UNECE (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG
  • PR-NI9 – With UNECE CS & SU

Vehicles with SFD2 cannot be activated remotely.

For these vehicles, we only offer installation and activation at our workshop in Vellinge, Sweden. If you are unsure whether your vehicle has SFD2, please contact us before ordering.

Installation & Activation

All coding, adaptations and feature activations are performed using RetroLab Pro. No third-party tools, scripts or manual coding are required.

Hardware installation must be carried out according to Audi factory repair manuals and wiring diagrams. We do not provide trim removal or mechanical disassembly guides.

You must be comfortable working on your vehicle or have a professional workshop perform the installation. Remote activation support is available if required (additional cost may apply).
