Audi A5 F5 Side Assist Retrofit

Upgrade your Audi A5 F5 with the original Audi Side Assist system. Side Assist helps you detect vehicles in your blind spot and provides clear visual warnings in the mirrors, increasing safety during lane changes.

Important Information

The radar sensors are equipped with Component Protection, which must be removed locally.
The radar sensors are brand new and calibration is required after installation.

Optional Upgrade: ASW (Exit Warning)

• ASW (Audi Side Warning / Exit Warning) can be added. This function provides a flashing warning in the door if traffic is approaching when a door is opened.
• ASW requires high-version rear door modules (front door modules are already included).
• ASW is only available on vehicles equipped with the QQ2 ambient light package. Vehicles without QQ2 do not have the correct door trim for ASW LEDs.

Remote Coding & Activation

All required final coding and activation is performed remotely by our team and is included in the price.
Component Protection removal cannot be performed remotely and must be completed locally by the customer (e.g. at an Audi dealer or specialist workshop).
For the remote session, an ENet cable or VAS5054A interface is required.
